On May 28, 2026, China Business Law Journal announced its 2026 China Business Law Awards. This year, the "Tax" practice area category recognized eight leading Chinese firms that demonstrated outstanding overall strength and industry recognition.

M&T Lawyers (M&T) was included in the Tax practice area award list,standing out for its exceptional professional capabilities.The award selection was conducted independently, objectively, and impartially by the China Business Law Journal team. The process involved open submissions from domestic and international law firms, extensive industry feedback, and months of research and evaluation. From hundreds of

submissions and over a thousand assessments from corporate executives, in-house counsels, and senior lawyers, the final list identified the most outstanding firms in each practice area for 2026.
